Albion Riverside Queen?s Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant Garden Party

Albion Riverside Queen?s Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant Garden Party

Albion Riverside?s location presented one of the best riverside views to enjoy and watch the Queen?s Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the 3rd of June 2012

The majority of residents hosted luncheons or themed parties from their river facing balconies.

Albion Riverside successfully received over 1800 visitors via the front doors of the main residential building on the day. The Estate Management team and residents planned well in advance to keep everyone informed of access to the building on the day to guests and also to ensure access to a record number of caterers, staff and delivery vehicles. The largest party hosted on one private balcony was for 70 guests.

Entry was strictly via invitation and a great deal of planning and management from the Harrods Estates Asset Management team was involved in contributing to the success of the day.

A dedicated Concierge and Security team received all residents? guests on the day, ensuring the high standards are maintained, whilst creating a welcome and an appropriately jubilant atmosphere. Access to the building was granted by way of providing a complimentary and themed Harrods wristband and there was of course miles of bunting and even balloon towers.

The Albion Riverside concierge provided up to the minute details on access to guests, ensuring all could get there in time for Her Majesty?s departure from Chelsea Harbour.

Albion Riverside benefits from a communal garden podium on the first floor level and the Estate Management team invited residents and their guests to pack a hamper and enjoy this area with neighbours and friends. Compliments from Harrods Estates Asset Management and Bespoke Events scrumptious afternoon tea was served at 3pm.

On the day, even the rain could not dampen spirits and Mechanical and Engineering Maintenance contractor, KCE FM sponsored plasma TV screens which provided live coverage of the day within the communal first floor area, to keep residents spirits up. This certainly added to the atmosphere within the building. It was a very joyous occasion and this was displayed when all the residents and guests spontaneously broke into song along to the music from one of the barges.

Harrods Estates Asset Management were delighted to have played such an integral part in the overall success of the day and being part of this event. It was truly a memorable day for all our Albion Riverside residents who entertained and enjoyed this historic event with friends and family.
